Roles and Responsibilities:

• We are hiring for Data Research Executive. This is an essential position within the Ocean Engagement team. This position will help to ground the team by effectively completing the following daily tasks:
• Engage with ocean carrier Ecommerce contacts to request data for our customers
• Maintain the JIRA board ensuring that the CS PS and sales teams know the status of their requests at all times
• Manage the Ocean Network Mail box ensuring that work is distributed to relevant team members for action
• Configure the OI system to receive data from CM for requested connections
• Help with Data Quality tasks as assigned
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

 Skills Required Mandatory:

• This position requires an understanding of Logistics and a desire to learn and be part of the Team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• Knowledge of Supply Chain / Logistics preferred

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree (in supply chain preferred)
